DRIVER'S ED FOR KENT SCHOOL
All-Star Driver is proud to offer our Full Driver's Education Program to the students of Kent School. ANY KENT STUDENT, regardless of their state or country of origin, can take this class and get their Connecituct Driver's License. This license can then be changed over to the home state's, or used to drive globally.
We work on licensing with Boarding Schools all over Connecticut. The program at Kent allows students to get their Driver's License while not interfering with their rigorous academic and athletic schedules. Classes and Driving Lessons are only held on Sundays while school is in session. Students that remain in Connecticut during school breaks can do driving lessons from their homes during their time off from school.
WHAT DO I NEED TO GET MY LICENSE?
The requirements for obtaining a Driver's License in Connecticut:
-Must be at least 16 years old
-Must complete 40 hours of Behind the Wheel Training in Connecticut with either a driving school or an adult who has had their license for 4 years with no suspensions.
-Must hold a Learner's Permit for at least 4 months
-Students under 18 years old must complete a 2 hour course with one parent or legal guardian present.
(At Kent, we schedule this class during Parent's Weekend. If you are not available during Parent's Weekend, we will set up an individual class for you when you are available at no additional cost.)

Entry Level with 8 Hours of Behind the Wheel Training: $799
For the local student who will be able to complete 32 hours on their own. Perfect for day students!
Basic Package with 10 Hours of Behind the Wheel Training: $925
For the student who will be able to complete 30 hours on their own. Perfect for day students!
Intermediate Package with 20 Hours of Behind the Wheel Training: $1575
For the Connecticut student who will be able to complete some driving during weekends and school breaks. Perfect for boarding students from CT!
Advanced Package with 30 Hours of Behind the Wheel Training: $2175
For the International or Out of State student who will be able to complete some driving while parent is in town or with a teacher/advisor.
Ultimate Package with 40 Hours of Behind the Wheel Training: $2675
For the International or Out of State student who will not have any other alternatives for driving during the school year.
Permit Testing Service: $199
We take student to get Learner's Permit.
License Testing Service: $199
We take student to get Driver's License.
Textbook: $20
