POLICIES & PROCEDURES

All-Star Driver maintains a no refund, no transfer policy. Once enrolled in a course, we are not able to offer a refund and the course cannot be completed by anyone other than the initial enrollee. Students have one year to finish their course from the time they are enrolled.

CLASSROOM POLICIES

1. Students must arrive at class on time. Late students may not be admitted into class, and will have to repeat the class in order to receive a completion certificate. Students that return late from breaks will also not be admitted into the class and will be marked absent.

2. Textbooks must be brought to each class. There are a number of in-class exercises that require the book for completion.

3. Cell phones/iPods/Other distractions are NOT permitted to be on during class. There will be break periods where students will have time to use their phone.

4. Students enrolled in the 8 Hour Safe Driving Course are subject to a $50 no show fee if they do not attend a class they are enrolled for. If you are unable to make the class you are enrolled in, please contact the office ahead of time so we can make alternate arrangements and avoid this fee.

Instructors reserve the right not to credit students who disregard the classroom policies.

ROAD LESSON POLICIES

1. All road lessons must be cancelled 24 hours in advance with our central office during office hours. Cancelled road lessons that happen on the day of the lesson will result in a fee of $30 for each hour missed. Lessons missed due to illness require a doctor’s note. Road lessons may not be cancelled via e-mail or via the voicemail system.

2. Road lessons scheduled for Mondays must be cancelled by Saturday at noon.

3. Students MUST have their learner’s permit on them for the driving lessons. Students that do not have the learner’s permit will not be permitted to drive, and will be charged the $30/hour fee for missing the class.

4. Open toe and open heel shoes are not allowed to be worn. Anyone that shows up to a lesson without proper foot attire will be driven home to change shoes.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

Driving in various weather conditions is an important part of the education process, but we would never sacrifice the safety of our students. In the event that we deem road conditions to be unsafe to drive, we will cancel classes and road lessons. All local media outlets will have our cancellation information and we will call you to reschedule driving lessons. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
