PRIVATE DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS
State law requires that students under the age of 18 who received their permit after August 1, 2008 complete 40 hours of driving time with an adult. DMV requires students to maintain a log of the hours completed at home. All-Star Driver offers private driving lessons to our students, which can be used towards the 40 hour requirement. Lessons can be purchased in 2 hour blocks, or as a package with one of our classroom options. The lessons will provide you with a number of tips and tricks that will not only help you pass the license test, but will teach you how to be a safe driver. You will spend time behind the wheel with one of our licensed instructors in one of the our licensed cars. Lessons will always be one-on-one, and will address your exact needs behind the wheel. The lessons cover parking maneuvers, driving in heavy traffic, highway driving, rural and urban driving, and much more.

Contact the office to schedule driving hours. Hours are generally scheduled in 2 hour blocks. IMPORTANT: YOU MUST HAVE YOUR LEARNER’S PERMIT WITH YOU. Students without their permit will not be allowed to drive and will be charged a cancellation fee.
We understand the schedules that the average 16 year old keeps and we do our best to accommodate that hectic lifestyle. If you feel that more time is needed with an instructor prior to the DMV test (which can be taken at our facilties!), more time can always be purchased as needed.
