When it comes to your license test, no driving school is more helpful than All-Star Driver. We give you choices! No matter what you decide is the best option for YOU, we are happy to be a resource. We know how to navigate the DMV Branch, we know the best times to go, we know the paperwork requirements for you and we know the paperwork requirements for your vehicle. Please ask, we will be happy to help. **All students wishing to test with us must complete at least 2 hours of private driving instruction in order to test** Now, your choices, in brief:
YOU DO IT ALL Free!
This is the cheapest option! Students will make their own appointment at the DMV, use their own car for the test and will be responsible for their own paperwork.
PROS: No additional fees, more appointment time availabilities
CONS: Wait time to get an appointment, DMV may deem your car unsuitable for testing
WE GO HALVES (Students Under 18 Only. Sorry.) $99!
Students that sign up for this option will use our car, at our facility for their driving test. Once they pass, students will go to the DMV to get their physical license. We help take care of all of the paperwork. We also keep a driving instructor on site during the test to calm nerves and answer last minute questions. This is the most stress free way to take your test, but it is also the most time consuming. Students who take our Full Driver's Education Program and test with us are guaranteed to pass, or will test for free until they do!
PROS: We do the paperwork, students can make appointment months in advance, we generally have appointments sooner than DMV, students know the maneuvers in our familiar car, waiting room is clean and quiet, on site instructor to help with last minute questions, testing guarantee.
CONS: 48 hour wait period to get license after passing
WE DO IT ALL $199!
Want nothing to do with the DMV? This is the option for you. After you make the test appointment with DMV, we handle the paperwork, we pick you up at home (or at work, or at school) and take you to the DMV, you use our car for the driving test and walk out of the DMV with your license in hand. Barring no major hiccups, we drop you back at your house (or work, or school) less than 2 hours later.
PROS: We handle everything!
CONS: We charge you $199 to handle everything.
